Pitmaster Select Hardwood Smoking Pellets

Horizon Bio-fuels recently launched a new hardwood smoking pellets product under the brand name Pitmaster Select. The company was looking to rebrand its existing Pitmaster Logo into something more dynamic and memorable. The existing logo was a bit generic and gave little indication as to the purpose of the product. After the initial meeting, a creative direction was established with the idea of creating a logo with the look and fell of a branding-iron. The solution was a bold mark that was slightly distressed with a western motif, and included features such as five stars to imply quality, as well as smoke graphics to create better product recognition. With the new mark, Pitmaster Select will stand out from the competition and is more easily recognizable. In addition, the new logo will be featured on new packaging designed by Pickering.
