Crete Carrier is a trucking company that needed a recruitment website to attract new drivers. Pickering designed a site that would speak to truckers about the quality of Crete Carrier and the great opportunities available to a higher level of experienced drivers. The website has a raw quality that features a slideshow of real truckers with quotes about the company. The website has an easy-to-spot apply now button, an updated latest news section, and searchable current job listings. The website uses Drupal, a Content Management System (CMS) allowing Crete Carrier to stay up-to-date with listings and news. Additionally, the site has slightly different variations for Crete Carrier’s other companies.
Apply Now Section
An Apply Now button placed strategically on the homepage makes applying easier than ever. Job requirements are displayed below the button, and a current jobs sections is conveniently located next to it.
Jobs Section
The Jobs section lists careers by position type, location, days, and keywords. The site allows applicants to apply online instantly and easily.
Terminal Location Map
A terminal location map details locations and provides addresses and phone numbers.
Recruiting Videos
Visitors can view a Crete Carrier Recruiting video to learn more information about the company and all that working for the company entails.
News and Events
The Latest News section on the homepage features information about job openings, career opportunities, and other pertinent information, while keeping the site current and relevant for visitors.
Additional Sites
In addition to Crete Carrier Jobs, operating division Shaffer Trucking and wholly owned subsidiary Hunt Transportation, Inc., have recruiting sites at Shaffer Jobs and Hunt Jobs, resectively. These sister sites have the same look and feel but are color-coded and feature careers specific to each company.
