Concordia University recently completed and launched a new website located at www.cune.edu. Concordia worked with Pickering on the design of the site, while the university completed development internally. With the new, clean, information-rich site, Concordia will be better able to attract potential students and also provide pertinent current information to existing students.
It was crucial to provide a fun and information-rich Athletics page that was useful to students, as well as fans and athletes. The layout employed subtleties to differentiate the page from the rest of the site while still maintaining cohesiveness.
Interior pages for sections such as Arts, Theatre, and Music feature large enticing images along with up-to-date events and information on the featured major.
Making the layout intuitive and easy to navigate was at the heart of the site’s design. Careful consideration was put into sizing, spacing, and contrast, to ensure visitors could quickly scan the site and find what they need.
Rich Content Footer
A rich content footer and sub-footer were implemented to house important information that needed to be accessed and available on all pages. This included contact information, map, and additional high priority information.
