With a targeted demographic that is tech savvy and on the go, it was critical for the college to stay connected with current and prospective students, as well as salon customers.
It was imperative for the college to stay on the cutting edge of technology. As leaders in their industry who champion the latest techniques and approaches, creating a mobile site was a natural extension of this philosophy. Analytics showed that over 500 unique visits per month were being generated by smart phone users. Additionally, a surprising number of visitors were accessing salon services in addition to information regarding the college. To accommodate this, Pickering recommended dividing the navigation into two areas, one for salon services and another for college information.
