Pickering Creative Group has designed and developed the new website for the Nebraska Community Blood Bank. Formed in 1968, the Blood Bank is a community based organization that collects, stores, and distributes blood products in southeast Nebraska. The new and informative site, developed in Drupal CMS, is located at www.ncbb.org and provides useful information for existing and potential donors.

For the Blood Bank, the website provides vital information on the donation process, how to donate, and volunteer opportunities. Visitors to the site can schedule a time to donate, locate blood drives in their area, and download valuable resources. A Donor Spotlight section showcases inspiring stories of donors and their reasons for donating.
"Nebraska Community Blood Bank is about a community helping others through the important act of donating blood, so it was essential that the site focus on the community aspect," says Art Director Scott Claypool. "The site features a slideshow reminding visitors of the impact they provide through the storyline of Be the Type... Additionally, the site allows visitors to share their story, further enforcing the community aspect."
