Pickering Creative Group is pleased to announce the launch of the Lied Center for Performing Arts new responsive design website, www.LiedCenter.org. Developed in Drupal, the new design reflects the quality, versatility, and class of Nebraska’s home for the arts.
“The new look of the Lied Center’s website provides well-deserved exposure to the Friends of Lied, a benefit-driven donor program for the non-profit,” explained Trent Wilcox, president of Pickering. “The redevelopment also included migrating the educational information to the Lied site, adding an increased emphasis and a more user-friendly experience.” Also featured, is an interactive map for points-of-interest in the downtown Lincoln and Historic Haymarket areas, which surround the center.
"The redesigned Lied Center website will significantly enhance the online experience for our patrons," said Lied Center marketing and sales coordinator Matthew Boring. "It showcases our world-class season performances as well as the education outreach activities that happen across the state." This website was made possible by a grant from the Hixson-Lied Endowment at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It features historical content on the Lied's longstanding partnerships with the Hixson-Lied College of Fine & Performing Arts and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The Lied Center for Performing Arts is a state-of-the-art performing arts facility. The Lied Center, opened in 1990, is Nebraska’s “Home for the Arts.” The facility offers major regional, national, and international events designed to attract, entertain, and inspire a statewide audience. The Lied Center and its programs are made possible through the generous 2011/2012 season support of Christina Hixson and the Lied Foundation Trust, Friends of Lied, Ameritas, and Union Bank.
